Jordan Rogers and Tyler Mclean Camp
The Tahoma Bears were very fortunate to have Oklahoma State wrestler Jordan Rogers and Simon Fraser Wrestler Tyler Mclean lead a camp on Thursday night. Both Tyler and Jordan, former Washington State Champions, wrestled for Mead High School near Spokane. Coach Feist and Coach Boomer got to know Jordan back in 2006 when he was a member of the Washington State School Boy Team that they coached. The focus of the camp was around leg riding and defending the leg ride along with each of their favorite takedowns. Tyler who won more college matches last year than any other college wrestler in the country also showed some fancy Canadian technique. We appreciated their time and their sharing what it takes to be a college wrestler.
