Bears to Compete at THE CLASH

The Tahoma Bears are headed East this week to The Clash! This year is the 15th anniversary of the dual tournament held in Rochester, Minnesota. This tournament is an invite only dual tournament that matches up the best teams in Minnesota againsttop teams from many other states:  (9), Illinois (4) California (3), Oregon (2), South Dakota (1), North Dakota (1), Utah (1), Georgia (1), Arizona (1), Florida (1), Missouri (1), Wisconsin (1), Nebraska (1) Washington (1), and Alabama (1).

The Bears will face off against some of the best teams in the country. Three of the top four teams in the nation will be attending this year. There are nine nationally ranked teams at the class and there are and 26 ranked individuals. The Bears first match will be against Hastings, Minnesota. If the Bears are able to outlast Hastings, they will take on the number two team in the country Buchanan, California.  This will be a great test of our team and wrestlers allowing  them to compete against some of the top teams and individuals in the country.

Tahoma will compete in Bracket "A", first day competition on Friday with dual meets at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 1 PM Central Time. You can follow the bears on our twitter page @tahomawrestling or follow matches live on Track Wrestling. The tournament starts with four 8-man brackets with each of the 32 teams seeded.
